DIRECTIONS to the PORT OF BRISTOL CLUB PBA (BS11 9XW)

The PBA Club is in Shirehampton, just on the outskirts of Bristol very close to
the M5 motorway at Avonmouth (J18). It is just off the A4 Portway which runs 
from the M5 along the river Avon through the Avon gorge, famous for Brunnels 
Clifton suspension bridge and into central Bristol. The A4 in main is a dual
carriageway so time from central Bristol is ten minutes, time from M5 (18) less
than five minutes.

From Bristol

Take the main A4 Portway (The Road under the Clifton Bridge) out towards the M5
at Avonmouth. Pass under the Clifton Bridge. Pass the first exit to Sea Mills 
and continue to a set of traffic lights at Sylvan Way. Continue through lights
and up a short hill that curves to the left. The road now straightens out with
houses on both sides of the road. Pass speed camera on central reservation and 
prepare to turn left at the next set of traffic lights (not the crossing) into
Hung Road. Travel 100 yards down Hung Road until the road bears hard left with
a newsagent directly in front of you. There, turn right into Nibley Road (Yes it
looks like suburbia). Continue down Nibley Road for 50yards until you see a
turning on your left; there's a small sign. Take that turning into the
car park in front of the main clubhouse. The ballroom is round the right side of
the clubhouse with its own private entrance. If you pass under the Motorway you
have gone too far!

From M5 North or Southbound or M49 (South Wales) (five minutes from M5/M49)

Exit at Avonmouth Junction 18 M5. Take the main A4 Portway signed Bristol & 
Airport; take second exit at a roundabout signed Bristol & Airport. Follow that
road for 1/2 mile under a footbridge & past a speed camera in the central
reservation, you will also pass under the Motorway. Pass under another foot bridge
and turn immediately right at the traffic lights into Hung Road.Travel 100 yards
down Hung Road until the road bears hard left with a newsagent directly in front
of you. There, turn right into Nibley Road (Yes it looks like suburbia). Continue
down Nibley Road for 50 yards until there's a turning on your left with a small
sign. Take that turning into the car park in front of the main clubhouse. The
ballroom is round the right side of the clubhouse with its own private entrance. 

Please note if you follow the Airplane Symbol for Bristol Airport that will take
you within two hundred yards of the venue, right up to the junction with Hung Road,
